This award recognizes an outstanding young woman between 18 and 29, respected and admired for her leadership, achievements and contribution to her school, workplace and/or community and is a positive influence on her peers. Nomination Criteria

Nominees must be at least 18 years of age and currently reside in the Shuswap and have lived here for a minimum of one year. Previous nominees may be re-nominated (previously called Shuswap Woman of the Year Awards).  All nominees must accept the nomination and agree to be present for It’s All About Women Evening Gala in order for the nomination to proceed.  There is no provision for posthumous nominations

Selection Process

All nominations are reviewed and adjudicated by the Selection Committee.  The committee is comprised of a diverse group of women whose decision will be based solely on the information provided in the Nomination Package.
